Looney the Robot

Looney has been a mainstay of the Robot Comedy Show since its inception, entertaining audiences for over 10 years. Looney is a NAO Humanoid Robot, originally developed by Aldebaran Robotics in Paris, France. Hunter, one of the early software developers for the NAO robots, helped bring Looney to life. Occasionally, Looney is joined on stage by Ocean, another NAO robot, distinguished by its blue color, in contrast to Looney's orange. After each show, Looney and Ocean are always available for pictures with the audience.

Tango the Robot

Tango was originally designed for Google's Tango Phones. After Google discontinued the phones, Tango no longer relied on them and now operates independently—though it can still work with a phone if needed. Tango is the first robot entirely designed and built by Hunter Lloyd, who assembled all the mechanical, electrical, and software components.

Peanut the Robot

Peanut is a retired Qbo Robot that was once considered outdated and beyond repair. Hunter gave it a new lease on life by replacing all of its internal components. Now Peanut is a crowd favorite, known for a killer R2-D2 impression.

Video Games

It’s not just robots—we use games, mocap, and 3D scanning. Sometimes we even scan an audience member into the game as a live 3D character. Tech + laughs = magic.
